It is Spring! Spring training has started! And in honor of spring training we are highlighting the Venue Home Plate polo by New Era.
Trying to find the balance between a not too expensive but well made polo that your crew can wear and look good in all spring and summer can be a challenge. New Era products, we find, fits that niche well.
These polos are moisture wicking (63/37 cotton/poly pique) and at 5.6 oz make the transition from a cool office to the summer heat nicely. The polos feature embossed New Era taped neck and side vents and engraved buttons to dress them up a bit. Both mens and womens style have drop tail hems…
and the ladies style come with a longer 6 button placket and an inverted back pleat.
The Venue Home Plate polos will hold up under heat for heat transfers or screen printing and will look equally nice with an embroidered logo.
Looks like New Era has your bases covered for your uniform needs.
” A GOOD UNIFORM IS A STATEMENT. It tells your employees they’re a part of a team, tells your clients what to expect, and most importantly, a good uniform tells your story.”
Wish we would could claim credit for that statement. The credit goes to the folks who bring you some of your favorite brands like Nike, New Era, and Bella + Canvas. Uniforming is their business and they do it well.
Modern companies are leaving behind the “one size fits all” approach. They are doing away with the stiff, stuffy, and restrictive pieces and replacing them with pieces that fit today’s lifestyles. Polos with moisture wicking properties and tees with a soft feel and flattering shape are the new norm. Take a look at some of these ideas and see how by mixing up tried and true pieces you end up with a fresh look.
By picking one or two colors that compliment your brand these ideas show that you can mix a polo shirt with heels, a 1/4 zip with a tie, and pull off a look that will work across the diversity of generations that make up your work force.
For more inspiration stop by the office to pick up your copy of this:
Lots of cool ideas to help you rethink and get out of your uniform rut. These are only available in print. If you can’t swing by the shop to pick up your copy contact us and we can mail one out to you.
We are still a few weeks away from August but Nike, New Era, Red House, and OGIO are previewing their new fall items. And there is some good stuff coming your way.
Give the catalog a once over and let us know if there is anything you have your eye on for upcoming fall events, projects, or team gear.

Bomber jackets remixed! 80’s vibe ’18 styling.
I do realize it is June 1st today but these jackets are worth a look no matter what the season. And they appeal to the 80’s kid in me….

A few weeks ago I did a post called Putting It Together about how to approach setting up your brand or uniform with a cohesive look. Ironically, the next day after I published that post this appeared in my in box.
This is New Era’s take on uniforming, highlighting their new fashion brand that arrived in late winter. With these combos they show that you don’t have to have a “traditional” (polo, jacket, tie, etc…) uniform to achieve a pull together professional look.
The New Era catalog is full of other great ideas to help you think outside the normal uniforming box. Click the text in red to see the catalog or stop in the shop and pick up a printed copy. We have plenty for the taking.

We have been looking forward to this since the fall.
This catalog introduces New Era apparel with over 40 tees, sweatshirts, polos, jerseys and jackets. Athleisure never looked so good.
And you should check out the new hat styles. We have been embroidering a lot of the New Era Interception Hat NE1100. It is a great hat that works for sports teams or corporate apparel. The gray top keeps it neutral and the splash of color under the brim works with just about any brand colors.
Samples of New Era gear should be arriving in this month so keep a look out for them.
