Hanes X-Temp
We have been selling the Hanes X-Temp for a little over a year now and have had some great response from our customers.
Everyone from landscapers, to contractors, to heating/oil repairmen have said how much they like the weight of these tee’s. They are easy to print on and embroider so we like that!
If you have been thinking about a lighter weight tee for your crew for the summer these may be just the thing.
Charles River Doggie Rain Gear
For all you with four-legged BFF’s are you ready for this cuteness?
Charles River has just introduced the New Englander Doggie Rain Jacket. It coordinates with the human version so you and your pal can step out in style.

These jacekts are a great way to promote your pet store, grooming shop, vet practice, or specialty shop that focuses on the tourist trade. (Think Newport, RI in the summer.)

Blazers for Your 2016 Show/Expo Season
While you are working on your promotional ideas for your upcoming events have you given thought to what your crew is going to be wearing? I know, I know, one more thing you have to worry about.
Most folks usually have something they can pull together for the event in the form of a dress shirt or polo but what about after the event walking from the location back to your hotel room….what about going out to dinner after a hard day of promoting your brand? What if the convention/expo center is freezing cold during the summer months?
Fleece jackets and vests are perfect for 95% of our customers that come to us for their apparel needs at show time. What if your industry is in that other 5%?
Port Authority and Devon and Jones have both come out with blazer options for just those special occasions.
Port Authority says about their blazers “Designed for layering comfort, this easy-to-wear, deconstructed style can go from refined to casual and resist wrinkles all day long.”
I couldn’t have said it better myself!

Monograms with a Twist
We do a lot of monogramming. We have three basic styles and it is a great way to personalize gifts for all kinds of events and milestones.
But what if you take it up a notch and your monogram became your brand? By playing around with font types and sizes you can create a unique monogram and use it in just the same way you would any logo. It is especially great idea if you are self employed and use your name or initials as your business name.
Here are some examples I found on Ultralinx.com and pulled the ones that caught my eye. Do make sure to check out their website for the other images which are just as inspiring.

Website Updates
All of this snow has to be good for something. For me it has allowed me some time to start some much needed updates to the website.
First you may have noticed a new layout and an addition of our promotional logo The Next Event. Remember we do more than just embroidery and screen printing. If you can put your name on it we can most likely get it for you.
Second we have added a new tab called E-Catalogs. These are digital catalogs geared for more specific needs and enables you to focus in on what you are looking for. They also are available in print so stop by the shop if you want to grab a copy.
Third we have added another tab called Design Your Own Logo. This new tab will take you to a design website with hundreds of clip art options and ideas. A perfect choice when you have a limited design budget or are in need of a design turned around quickly. It is also just a great resource to let your creativity flow.
We will be continuing to add more resources to the website to make it easier to navigate and to help you quickly find what you are looking for.

After 2 feet of snow we are thinking Spring and Spring Sports. Specifically how to make it easier on our customers to find everything for their team without having to shop for items in 40 different catalogs. Color is their main concern because If they have to shop in 40 different catalogs, they tell us the chances of color consistency becomes iffy. Enter Team 365!

Marsala….take it or leave it?

Marsala is the Pantone Color of 2015. We are not terribly impressed by this years choice but here is the explanation that Pantone gives for it.
