Champion Originals

Just  for you die hard Champion fans.  Champion is introducing Champion Originals: A new line that is “athletically inspired, fashionably worn”. The whole line has a softer look with a vintage feel.  Flip through the catalog above and you’ll see what I mean.

Being know for their performance and active wear lines this new line segues perfectly to fit that athleisure market that is trending now. The sweatshirt circled above would work well for early fall outings, gyms and  fitness studios, school and spirit wear, and employee appreciation gifts.

Oh and for our customers who love their henley shirts, there is an updated version in this line. The price point is awesome too making it easy to make it part of your employees fall uniforms.

While we don’t currently have any samples in the shop message us if you are interested. It will give me the perfect excuse to get some in.

Nike Golf Therma-FIT Hypervis 1/2-Zip Cover-Up

I got to see The Nike Golf Therma-FIT Hypervis cover up when our sales rep debut it a couple of months ago. I forgot all about it until one of our customers ordered one. I also forgot how nice they are.

The chevron design  is  subdued enough to work with your logo without overwhelming it. The contrasting zipper and interior color adds a pop of color making it easy to layer over your other golf gear.

It is made of 100% polyester Therma-Fit fabric which keeps it, soft, light weight and temperature regulating. (How that exactly works I am not sure but it sounds impressive. Our customer that orders them is going to keep me posted on that!)

And for the ladies it comes in a full zip style with thumb holes at the cuff for extra warmth.

Perfect for golf outings (obviously), corporate events, employee incentives and vendor gifts.

Just In: Pennant 2018 Catalog

Pennant Sportwear just released their 2018 catalog with a bucket load of new products.

Vintage is where its at for Pennant in this catalog. Check out the Vintage Raglan Jersey and Vintage Henley on page 8/9. On page 10 the Vintage Stripe Jersey caught my eye. These items would be perfect for warm ups, spirit wear, and great for school stores or fund raisers for your favorite team.

They updated there sweatpants and shorts. Lots of contrast details like the sweats on page 21 and color blocking on shorts.

If you are a huge fan of the FaceOff Hoodie (one of our best sellers) there is now a Camo version on page 22.

For late summer/early fall practices check out the Short Sleeve and Sleeveless Trainer Hoodies on page 30/31.

Hanes X-Temp Triblend

Just in from Hanes! The new Hanes X-Temp Triblend tee’s.

This tee still offers the light weight feel with 40+ UPF protection of the original X-Temp 4200 we reviewed last June but with a blend of 30% cotton / 60% polyester / and 10% rayon the feel is super soft. The heather  color palette offers a contemporary look perfect for all occasions and events.

How to Make your Tee Shirt SOFT

The bloggers over at Who What Wear just posted this #stylehack.

I personally haven’t tried this to know if it works or not. But I do know that recently customers have been asking us for a softer feeling tee shirt option when they are  placing  an order. They are finding certain brands they have sworn by for years have now become stiff and scratchy. This might be a good solution to that problem. I can’t vouch for what it will do to the printing either, but you might come up with just the look you were going after.

If you do try it out let us know how it worked. Take some before and after photos too. Those trend setters at WhoWhatWear might be on to something.

Carhartt 2017

We just added a new catalog to our E-Catalogs tab.

This catalog is for those of you who are so loyal to the brand we can’t entice you to even give other brands a look see. We are now working with Broberry Manufacturing to bring you all Carhartt all the time; including a whole section devoted to Women’s Carhartt gear. How cool is that.

25oz. Wellspring Water Bottle

With all the fun summer things you have planned don’t forget the water bottle.

I see so many water bottle options in my various e-mails that sometimes I kind of stop looking. This product from Glass America, however, caught my eye. Not your typical sport water bottle, this will lend its self well to more upscale events. Right now they are on sale too which makes a win/win for everybody.

Tie Dye for Summer

Tie Dye always makes me think of summer. Well that and the 1960’s.

While Tie Die is usually  associated with the 1960’s culture it had a  resurgence back in the early 90’s with lots of neon colors. (I can attest to that. I had many a company outing shirt from that era in blindingly bright colors.) Since then it has stayed just below the radar making a fashion come back every couple of years. Because it is not typical, it can make your application of it all the more memorable. (Notice I still remember those tees from the 90’s. Wish I could still fit in to them too….)

Dyenomite (the brand pictured above) has a variety of Tie Dye gear can be just the thing for:

  • Company Outings and team building (who wouldn’t want to be on team Tie Dye!)
  • Family Reunions
  • Summer Leagues
  • Fund Raising Events

The tie dye process looks best with one color logos that are on the larger size with big details. Anything too small and intricate will get lost in the explosion of color. The paw print and heart shaped features on two of the tees works really well for school initials or event dates.

And of course if you want to try your hand at Tie Dye DIY that is cool too. For small runs we can apply CAD cut Vinyl that will make even the smallest event one to remember.

Caring For Fleece

While flipping through one of our trade magazines Promotional Products Business, I found this side bar on how to care for fleece. Since we get asked a lot how to care for items, I thought these tips might help. My favorite tidbit is the wet rubber glove to remove pet hair. That sounds much easier than using packing tape to try to pull it off!  Happy Washing!
